Microchip Shortage Expected To End by 2022

microchipMicrochip supply is expected to improve by late 2021 or early 2022. By this time, pressure should be alleviated in the semiconductor industry. This should allow manufactures to return to expected production levels, and even increase supply for computer parts.

Due to increased demand from COVID-19 stay-at-home orders and the crypto boom, computer parts have been harder to get. By early 2022 it is looking like microchip supply will return to normal and ease even before that.

The large players (AMD, Intel, Nvidia) have been working to secure more capacity to help in the mean time, and hopefully we should see GPUs and other computer parts back on the shelves soon.
